Exploring Identity and Resilience through L.M. Rangel’s Stories

Hello Everyone!
I’ve been writing since I was thirteen years old, but I just started writing professionally this year at the age of thirty. My stories are fiction, but the arguments, trauma, and heartache come from real life experiences. I like to think of all the different opportunities we could have had, but ultimately, the choices we make and the life we live now are the ones that matter most. The heartaches we go through shape our lives and who we are destined to become.

I thought about my story when my husband left me, eight months pregnant with our second child. Alone and broken, I found strength and a better version of myself. I use writing as a coping mechanism and an outlet. I hope that as you read my work, you find comfort in it the way I did while writing it.
